Successful day of Shopping

Hey Friends! I'm having so much fun shopping for new Halloween stuff to go in my Etsy store but I won't show you those just yet. I did put these pretty peach millinery flowers though.

I stopped by the library to return the 3 books I posted about that I finished. Except for one~ Eat, Pray, Love. It was just starting to get good and interesting when it's due date popped up. I tried to renew it but was unable because someone else reserved it. Darn! Oh well. I guess I'll have to put that read on hold. It was still a successful trip because I got the exact book I was looking for. Marie Antoinette's Biography. I've seen many many art depictions of her and that era and her fashions but don't know one thing about her! Once again I hear the gasps across the blog world. Don't worry I'm educating myself on that right now. It's alot more interesting than I expected it to be so Thank you Stink Bone Jones.

This bunch of dried flowers and a few paper roses in there is a finding at my favorite consignment shop for only $2. I'm keeping it as a centerpiece on my table under my chandelier.

I was so pleasantly surprised to find this stunning flowing costume from the Spirit Halloween Store for only $30. As far as costumes go that is on the low end. I've wanted to be a Roman goddess for 3 years now! I finally found it! Yay!
A black frilly dress which I found at Charolette Russe. you can see here. & some really elegant shoes from a shoe store called shi. This will be my oufit for the upcoming Alison Krauss Concert this Wednesday!

A gorgeous and very large framed Rose Framed Art that matches beautiful with my bedroom decor. I am currently looking at paint swatches for or Master Bedroom.
And because in the past few weeks I've learned that God's words always have meaning no matter what you're going through. I'll leave you with this today.

Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Accept my teachings and learn form me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives.
Matthew 11:29

I love those shoes! You will look amazing! Email me back if you have not secured an Eat, Pray, Love copy yet and I will send you mine to have (and then you can just pass it on because of course I bought it used and very cheap). I wouldn't mind at all to slip it into a envelop and mail it. Just let me know, Katie

You're going to be beautiful at the concert! You should take a picture so we can see you. I am reading a book about Marie Antoinette too. It is called The Last Queen of France and is by Evelyne Lever. My son gave it to me for my birthday (July) and I'm still reading it. I knew nothing either. Love your finds. Have a great week! Twyla
