My new travel buddy

So, I have my stay at home buddy. A Fuji Finepix which does a beautiful job, but I busted the bottom of the camera on some rocks when on a photo shoot at the City Hall photographing the lake a flowers and whatnot. Ever since then I've always had to hold or tape the bottom shut while photographing my Etsy things. Well that's fine and all for my creation photos up close but I hadn't taken any photos of my kids in like 2 months!! that's just rediculous!
So, I walked right into Target pointed at the glass and said I'll take that one! Look at it! it's a little teal beauty, & i since I hadn't bought a camera in a whole year I learned that most cameras come with ion batteries now and not rechargeable batteries. I really should have done all of my homework and whatever but this ones the prettiest and so I would make it work. Turns out, I don't have to it's a great camera!
So this explains why I've fallen behind on posting about a ton of cool things I've been doing lately. So today is Catch up day. I'm thinking there might be 6 posts just today! Get ready to come visit me often because I'm on a roll!!

Valencia's 4th Birthday

My little Sweetheart Valencia Love turned 4 years old in August. Due to my lack of knowledge about my new Canon Powershot at the time I had to edit all of these photos to finally upload them to my blog so finally we can see how this little angel celebrated her Birthday. With her favorite people at Grandma & Papa's house. And a second little celebration at home making cupcakes :)


Picking out the perfect Princess Cake at Dairy Queen...
She requested very specifically for purple balloons on the floor that she could throw up in the air, for a purple cake with candles, and to go to Grandma & Papa's house for a party. She didn't even think to ask for gifts, she just wanted her party. She's already anticipating her next birthday so she can plan a new party!

Hello to all! it seems as though I've been missing lately. Just keeping busy! I have a million exciting things to show you. First is my feature in the premiere issue of Greencraft Magazine!
It came out August 1st and it is a really beautiful publication that Amanda Crabtree spent a long time putting together. She did a wonderful job! I was so inspired to try every technique in it!

I had a sweet bride contact me about making Herb De Provence Tags for her Wedding to tie to her little jars of herbs. They turned out beautiful along with the rest of the wedding! Thanks Jenn!

Etsy SCHOOL SUPPLY FUNDRAISER!

My local church has pledged to fill 500 backpacks for local kids in my area who might otherwise not have been able to get the items listed on their school's supply list.
With my son's first day of school quickly approaching I certainly can understand what it might feel like to not be able to send my kids to school with their supplies.
